This project requires extensive marketing techniques in order to inform the student body of the growing need for change. The key to gaining support for the QR code initiative is to spread awareness.An effective way of spreading awareness is through viral marketing, and we intend to employ that very technique. Our specialized multimedia crew has effectively designed a flier and a website with a registered QR code to allow students the opportunity to explore and understand this initiative. Also, what better way to do that than through social media sites like Facebook. We intend on creating a Facebook group targeting key students that have a lot of friends on campus. Another marketing strategy is to negotiate our plans with the student union and persuade them to include this project in their campaign platform. Once we achieve their support, the student union would be a powerful driving force that could push the idea towards the students.
